Experienced engineers and supervisors have returned these components/accessories service after performing necessary inspection, repair/overhaul/refurbishment and test process. The list of the components/accessories (included but not limited) that are under capability of iTECS, are as followings; 

Natural Gas Metering Valves

3103 Gas Valves

The 3103 gas valve is a stainless steel valve capable of metering gas flow between 23 and 18 144 kg/h (50 and 40 000 lb/h) manufactured by Woodward Governor Company. The 3103 is designed to be corrosion resistant and to operate self-cleaning, allowing it to operate in sour gas environments (high sulfur content gas) that can cause problems for other valves. This extremely accurate assembly successfully combines the state of the art electro hydraulic technology with proven mechanical hardware and;

  • TM55 Proportional actuator receives position commands from an electric control and
  • An EM35 actuator and EM35 digital driver used in conjunction with, the 3103 valve delivers the demanding accuracy needed for DLE applications. The EM35 actuator is all electric, so hydraulic contamination and maintenance problems are eliminated. Cost is reduced since there is no HPU to maintain or replace. In addition, the EM35 actuator is designed for long life, although it may be replaced in the field if necessary.

Fuel Metering for Dry Low Emissions and Catalytic Combustion Control

Woodward is a leader in fuel metering for Dry Low Emissions and Catalytic Combustion Control. For applications requiring from 2 up to 5 parallel paths Woodward can provide the fuel metering system and the control. Our DLE fuel metering systems are capable of 2.0% of point, mass flow accuracy and our current programs cover multiple small industrial engines and aero-derivatives.

Liquid Fuel Metering Valves

Woodward Liquid Fuel Metering valves meter liquid fuel during acceleration, steady-state operation, and deceleration to gas turbines.

1907 Large Liquid Fuel Valve

The Woodward 1907 large liquid fuel used for almost any liquid-fueled industrial gas turbine application within its range of fuel flow (70 to 340 kg/h; 150 to 25 000 lb/h). The 1907 valve is typically operated with a hydro-mechanical actuator as well as in conjunction with an EM35 actuator and EM35 digital driver, the 1907 valve delivers the demanding accuracy needed for DLE applications.

Liquid DLE Fuel System

A single positive displacement pump in the Woodward Liquid DLE Fuel system is used to provide fuel to the system to the gas turbines. The Bypass Valve (BPV) is used to provide the normal system bypass and also serves to provide closed loop control of the system pressure to the three throttling valves. Each of the three throttling valves meter fuel independently to the engine manifolds. Fuel flow accuracy of better than 2.5% of point mass flow is achieved by the fuel metering valves without expensive transducers or individual valve characterizations.

Liquid Shutoff Valve 25

The Woodward Liquid Shutoff Valve is a three-way valve designed to rapidly shut off all liquid fuel flow and prevent leakage to the turbine. In the de-energized state, the valve diverts inlet flow to bypass ports, preventing pressure damage to positive displacement fluid systems. Normal installation of the 21.5 lb (9.8 kg) valve is in the fuel line between the fuel regulating valve and the turbine. The valve diverts flow from the discharge to bypass ports any time the operating electrical signal is lost.

Water Metering Valves

Woodward’s 3151A Water Valve with EML100 actuator controls water flow to reduce overall emissions of aero-derivative gas turbines.

3151A Water-Valve/EML100 Actuator and Assembly

The 3151A Water Valve/EML100 Actuator assembly is manufactured by Woodward Governor Company, and meters water to gas-turbine combustors as part of a nitrous oxide (NOx) emission-reduction system. The 3151A Water Valve is intended for use with high-pressure centrifugal-type pumps and provides metered bypass flow for pump-stability and heat-balance considerations. The unit meters water injected into an industrial gas turbine’s combustion chamber, lowering combustion temperature. This assembly is designed to be used with the Woodward EM Digital Driver.

3151A Water Valve and TM Actuator (Water Injection System)

The 3151A Water Valve/TM-40LP Actuator assembly is used as part of a gas turbine nitrous oxide emission-reduction system. The assembly meters water into an industrial gas turbine’s combustion chamber, lowering combustion temperature. The 3151A Water Valve is intended for use with high-pressure centrifugal-type pumps and provides metered bypass flow for pump-stability and heat-balance considerations.

Variable Valves Actuators (VIGV / VSV / VBV)

We provide inspection/repair/refurbishment/testing services for a variety of actuators, pumps, servo valves, and hydraulic control units to deal with variable geometry needs on the engine. Typical applications control variable stator vanes, inlet guide vanes, variable bleed valves, etc.
